HTS Texas, the Texas partner of one of the largest independent commercial HVAC manufacturers' representatives in North America, announced today that they have entered into an exclusive distribution agreement that will extend Apreco Limited's network in Texas. Apreco Limited is the market leader of air pressure control vents and stabilizers used in applications throughout medical facilities and critical laboratory facilities.

Recognizing Apreco Limited's proven success on projects such as the one conducted in late 2011 for the Texas A&M Health Science Center and Shah Smith and Associates, HTS Texas believed partnering with Apreco made strategic sense.

To address the environmental and regulatory needs of the facility's new Vivarium suites, the Texas A&M Health Science Center worked with Shah Smith and Associates to install 30 of Apreco Limited's VARI-centric air pressure stabilizers along with perforated plate grille and light baffle box accessories that were chosen for rodent control. Controlling air pressure was vital to maintaining a sanitary environment, and the stabilizer products' low-maintenance design, easy-to-clean, removable blades, standard SteriTouch® antimicrobial protection, and quiet day-to-day operation best suited the building's needs.

HTS Texas will distribute and provide technical support for Apreco Limited's air pressure stabilizers along with air pressure relief vents and air pressure monitoring systems in Central, North and Southeast Texas.
