GTL, multi-phase filtration system design for lay-in ceilings.
The GTL incorporates leading-edge photocatalysis and improved particulate filtration, converting most volatile organic compounds (VOCs) to carbon dioxide and water vapor while capturing and destroying up to 70% of particulate contaminants in a single pass. The GTL is the most comprehensive sterilization/purification unit ever offered to the Indoor Air Quality industry.

The GTL can be installed in new or existing construction to provide people protection against indoor air pollutants, i.e. molds, spores, bacteria, viruses, pollen, formaldehyde, cleansers, pesticides, fungicides, combustion by-products, odors, and most toxic gases. The uniqueness of this product lies in its ability to clean and greatly reduce contaminants, as opposed to merely filtering or collecting pollutants like most other products. The GTL works within the capacity of existing blowers and HVAC equipment, yielding significant air quality enhancement without reengineering and thereby saving money and time.

Photocatalytic (PCO) technology has been studied by the EPA, Sandia National Laboratories, U. S. Department of Defense, U. S. Department of Energy, and National Renewable Energy Laboratories (NREL). PCO is capable of destroying most VOCs in deadly air and ground water effluent containing carcinogenic compounds. Garfield Industries™ applies this technology in a revolutionary way, making it available to schools, medical facilities, commercial and residential markets for protection of faculty, students, patients, workers and families. Photocatalysis is the natural oxidizing effect of UV light on titanium dioxide, neutralizing odors and gases, while attacking the DNA of airborne viruses, bacteria and fungi.

The GTL installs easily into a lay-in ceiling allowing for quick return-air connection. The GTL is designed to protect the evaporator coil, motor, drain pan, and duct system from dirt and pollutants; and increases efficiency of heat transfer, providing cost savings. The GTL is effective and affordable, and should be a part of every living environment.
